Without oxen a stable stays clean, but you need a strong ox for a large harvest.

– Proverbs 14:4 (New Living Translation)

This verse was shared at church on Sunday. It might generally be a verse I’d pass over; I’m not a farmer so I don’t have a stable or an ox. However, it’s an interesting parallel.

It might be easier, less complicated to not have the ox. However, you I will not be as successful, as productive, without that otherwise messy complication. Be aware of the blessings that “messy” may bring.
