We’ve all heard about the smartphone apps that can tell you whether you’re too drunk to drive. I think we’ve all thought of the counter arguments to those apps as well.
I’m not sure that someone who is drunk will stick with the Beck’s app for the full 25 seconds – unless challenged by a (hopefully more sober) friend – but I do love how it smartly integrates their logo and the message with perfect functionality. What an app should do is not just tell you you’re drunk but also give a solution for the situation. Beck’s is smart to have you select a taxi company when you download the app (sober) so that when you fail their test, the taxi company you previously selected is automatically called for a ride.
