By popular request (as follow-up to this post), I present my favorite cookie recipe courtesy of my Grandma W.
- 1/2 lb butter (2 sticks)
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 2 1/2 cups flour (sifted)
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- Cream Butter thoroughly, add sugar and vanilla.
- Gradually add flour and nuts.
- Make into balls, press with thumb on to ungreased baking sheet.
- Bake 20 minutes at 350 degrees.
- Roll in powdered sugar while still warm (so the sugar will stick to them).
